Javea Old Town

It would be easy to spend your holiday down at the beach, but don't miss a visit to the nearby Old Town. Charming streets, a real Spanish feel and excellent dining options make this a must see during your trip.

Moraira

Once a small fishing village, Moraira is a now an upmarket resort situated on the coast just south of Javea. A picturesque harbour and plenty of restaurants and boutiques make this a pleasant place to spend a couple of hours. The 20 minute walk from the town centre to stunning El Portet beach takes in some beautiful coastline views.

Denia

To the north of Javea lies the vibrant town of Denia, with several different areas to explore including the castle, tree lined main street, old town tapas street and pretty harbour area. From here you can even travel to Ibiza or Formentera within a couple of hours.

Alicante

Around an hour south of Javea you'll find the friendly small city of Alicante. Take in the views from castle, amble on the harbour side promenade with its market stalls, or spend the day exploring the many stylish boutiques and tapas bars of the city centre.

Valencia

Just over an hour north of Javea lies Valencia. Spain's 3rd largest city and the home of paella, Valencia has the city buzz without the crowds of Madrid and Barcelona. With a wealth of architectural styles including Art Deco and Gothic, museums and galleries, Valencia is the perfect place to spend the day.
